MEG Inventor Tom Bearden:
Did the Soviets Cause
the Challenger Disaster?

On the morning of January 28, 1986, America screamed, shouted and wept in collective horror as the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds after liftoff, killing all aboard.   We later learned that this tragedy was caused by the weathering and hardening of the huge, rubber “O” rings that were installed in the solid rocket, but there could be more to the story.  If U.S. Army Colonel (retired) Tom Bearden is right, there is an even deeper reason than weather itself – Soviet EM warfare directed against the United States.  If so, this could portend dangerous consequences for America’s near future, vis-à-vis an Axis of Evil state.

The official report on the Challenger disaster stated the “O” rings had been damaged by unnaturally cold weather.  The fact that the failure of the “O” rings caused the disaster it irrefutably. But, what caused the weather, which in turn led to the failure of the “O” rings, has never been addressed, even though it had been an icy morning, which is extremely unusual for Cape Canaveral, Florida.  While it has always been a given that this weather was an act of God, Bearden believes it was an act of man instead. 

Bearden, inventor of the Motionless Electromagnetic Generator (MEG) “free energy” device, has linked this tragedy, along with other national tragedies and anomalous weather patterns recorded in the U.S. to Russian work with scalar EM waves.  He credits Russian scientists with being able to cause electromagnetic interference remotely.  He further states that they have been conducting experiments in EM interference, which they call “energetics,” since shortly after WW2 and that they may have begun learning about the technology from stolen schematics and a stolen prototype as early as 1939.

Spies Steal the Plans

In 1939, a Russian agent received detailed drawings from the lab of T.H. Moray in Salt Lake City.  Russian agents who had befriended Moray in order to obtain the information allegedly stole those drawings, along with the only working prototype of the device. 

According to Bearden, the drawings were detailed images of “Moray’s specialized amplifier, which extracted energy from the powerful quantum mechanical fluctuations of vacuum.”

World War II

However, with the cataclysmic devastation of WW2 looming over the horizon like an invisible predator, Russia had little time then to pursue the new science of “applied energetics” until after the war had ended.  Originally, Stalin had planned to annex all of Europe beginning a couple of years after the end of the war, but the American attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki changed all that. 

Our atomic attacks against those two Japanese cities, which ended World War 2, forced Stalin to re-think his plan. Before he could conquer all of Europe, he knew that, to back up such a bold move, he would have to have the firepower and with the use of the atomic bombs, the U.S. had just taken a giant step forward in firepower capabilities.  Instead of being able to overthrow the European governments with little or no allied resistance, Stalin now had to contend with a young upstart in the form of the United States.  Therefore, he began to look for ways to outperform our rapidly growing nuclear arsenal.

Threat from the Cold War Era

Evidence suggests that the Soviet Union may have achieved that goal by weaponizing the science of what Bearden calls “scalar electromagnetics.”

Historical Background of Scalar EM Weapons

By the mid-50s, the Soviets should have been well along in prototype building, weaponizing, and development of larger devices and starting new weapons, based on what I have called scalar electromagnetics — unified EM/gravity field theory … or simply electrogravitation using negative energy and time-reversed EM waves.

In the winter of 1957-58, a monstrous nuclear accident occurred at a Soviet facility in the Ural Mountains near Kyshtym. [Inexplicably, for decades U.S. intelligence analysts feverishly resisted—and even suppressed—the evidence in their possession, adamantly insisting that such an event never occurred.]. Witnesses reported that atomic wastes in the nearby storage site exploded. Since scalar EM research and development would have been underway in the Soviet Union for several years, we can construct a scenario that will produce that nuclear event: Suppose a large nearby radar had been modified to radiate a scalar EM wave. Suppose it is also used to produce a standing scalar EM wave…

As the radar continues to radiate, such a standing scalar EM wave is "charged up" to a higher and higher "potential", just like charging a capacitor. That is, in the standing wave, its "locked-in energy density of vacuum" is being steadily increased, simply by continuing to transmit with the radar in the scalar EM mode. However, what is actually being "charged up" or produced is a gravitational potential standing wave (and this G-potential is increasing.) Further, suppose the radar and its attached standing scalar wave (G-potential) are energized, and suddenly the radar transmitter suffers an electrical failure. The "scalar potential" represented by the charged-up vacuum energy (which can be enormous) in the standing wave would immediately discharge to earth in a sharp electrogravitational pulse (EGP). When a strong EGP pulse— which is absorbed by, and reradiated from, atomic nuclei rather than orbital electrons—struck stored radioactive nuclear wastes, the radioactive nuclei would all decay immediately, just as if internally exposed to an atomic bomb. A full nuclear explosion of the stored nuclear wastes—in the dirt and dirty—would occur, creating a terrible nuclear "accident."

That is exactly what caused the Kyshtym accident in 1957-58. Failure of a large scalar EM transmitter produced a giant EGP "arc discharge" into the earth, striking the atomic wastes stored nearby. The resulting explosion and radioactive fallout contaminated a very large area, which is still contaminated to this day. Hundreds—perhaps thousands—of casualties resulted.

But did the Kyshtym accident end the Soviet effort?

Gray Lady Down!

On April 11, 1963, the submarine, U.S.S. Thresher was destroyed with all hands aboard. 

An EM pulse, which, according to Bearden, was sent from the Soviet Union, knocked out all of the Thresher’s electrical systems.  Thus, it effectively killed the submarine by causing it to sink to crush depth and implode. 

The EM interference left behind by the attack pervaded the area of the ocean so completely that U.S.S. Skylark, surface companion to Thresher, was unable to transmit word of the accident until over an hour and a half after loss of contact with Thresher.  According to Bearden, some of Skylark’s electronic systems mysteriously went down, only to recover just as mysteriously later.  This, he says, “is clearly a scalar EM weapon signature.”

Having established the likelihood that an enemy nation has possessed EM weaponry with numerous uses for decades, Bearden went on to apply that evidence to the Challenger crash.  However, can that evidence prove beyond reasonable doubt that the Challenger was tampered with electronically and remotely?

Exactly two months and two days before the Challenger tragedy, the space shuttle Atlantis lifted off from Cape Canaveral in an evening launch.  During that launch, a strange light was observed in the sky nearby.  Twelve minutes into the flight of the Atlantis, when the craft was safely downrange, a huge atmospheric rumbling explosion occurred that was heard for hundreds of miles in all directions. These booms and rumbles over Florida were becoming commonplace and Atlantis was the third space shuttle launch to be marked by this phenomenon. 

A mere six weeks before the Challenger disaster occurred, the same Soviet EM weapon was deliberately tested against “an Arrow DC-8 taking off from Gander Air Force Base, Newfoundland.  At lift-off, the aircraft—carrying over 258 U.S. Marines and aircrew—lost power and sank into the ground tail-low, killing everyone on board.”

Observers of the crash reported hearing the engines of the doomed craft roaring in painful labor as the plane struggled to right itself.

On January 1, 1986, the U.S. learned that the Soviets had upgraded their “Woodpecker” EM weapons systems with a metal softening signal.  The signal had been detected and verified using a special verification process.

On January 28, 1986, the Challenger disaster occurred.  The many indicators of Soviet tampering are listed here in Bearden’s own words.
